Ingredients

  • French Baguette
  • Flank Steak
  • Brie Cheese
  • Arugula
  • Yellow Onion
  • Salt and Pepper

Directions

  1. Heavily season flank steak with salt and pepper.
  2. Grill flank steak close to the heat source for 5-6 minutes on each side. Set to the side to let rest.
  3. Slice brie into thin slices.
  4. Slice yellow onion into half-moon slivers.
  5. Cook onion over medium high heat, stirring every 5 minutes until onion slivers become golden brown.
  6. Cut baguette sandwich style but keep hinged.
  7. Slice flank steak on a bias into thin slices.
  8. Layer baguette with flank steak, caramelized onion, and brie slices.
  9. Bake in oven at 450 degrees for 5-7 minutes or until brie is bubbling.
  10. Top with arugula and close the top of the baguette.
  11. Cut into small sandwiches.
